The rail pressure on the 6.7L Ford Powerstroke is controlled by two actuators. First is the MPROP valve mounted on the CP4 pump. Second, this fuel pressure control valve (also called a DRV) which mounts to the back of the Driver's side fuel rail. A high duty cycle from the PCM raises rail pressure, a low duty cycle lowers it.

Der Raildruck des 6.7L Ford Powerstroke wird von zwei Aktoren gesteuert. Zum Ersten ist es das MPROP-Ventil, das an der CP4-Pumpe montiert ist. Zum Zweiten ist es dieses Kraftstoffdruckregelventil (auch DRV genannt), das an der Rückseite der Kraftstoffrail auf Fahrerseite montiert ist. Ein hohes Tastverhältnis vom PCM erhöht den Raildruck, ein niedriges Tastverhältnis senkt ihn.
